Quotes this week from Rasa Bea

"I'm going to have a baby brother. I'm going to call him Number Two"
I swear to God she's never seen Austin Powers!!!

"Adia lets go sit outside on the bench. We're going to wait for my baby brother"
Um I should note that I was home with the girls alone so it's not like she was thinking if she gave Royce and I some time alone.......

Jenn: "Rasa did you draw this picture?"
Rasa: "Yes!"
Jenn: "Is that a lady?"
Rasa: "NO!! It's my momma!" (in a loud and condescending manner!)
Jenn: "Is this you?"
Rasa: "No it's my baby brother! and that's a tiny baby!!" (again in a loud and condescending manner!)
*notice she captured my afro quite well!

This morning Rasa brought me the cap off of a brand new tube of lip gloss. I immediatly get irritated because she's been digging in my purse again and I say, "Go get the rest of this right now!". She says, "I WILL!" and walks away. I reply, "Right now!". She walks back over to me and gives me a teenage attitude and says, "Momma you need to relax!"

I'm dead.

Rasa pic

I recently purchased another new camera lens and when it arrived on Thursday all I wanted to do was play with it. The girls are a handful and into everything so I was only able to snap one photo. Rasa looked too cute taking her sock off her foot to put it on her hand - hahahaha. I can also see how in love with this lens I'm going to be! The photo is unedited with the exception of changing it to black and white from color.

Rasa's Road Rash

We know the business of "owies" all too well. The girls have been toppling over since they started standing and walking around furniture at about 9 months. Walking without assistance brought on a whole new level of bumps and bruises. Now the with the girls running their falls seem to happen in slow motion while I yell Oooohh, scrunch up my face and come running.

Yesterday while on the driveway Rasa ran across, stumbled and fell with such force her little face smacked the pavement (doesn't the mental imagine just make you cringe a little?). Poor baby. She only cried for a minute and then was back at it.

Rasa B B B....

as we call her, sometimes just bbb (like baby Bea). She's brightening my world every minute. Brimming with energy and joy and laughter! We played in the tub for about an hour last night while Royce and Adia napped. She was in heaven splashing and banging toys around. She has always LOVED the water. I remembered how much fun I had when I was little pretending the tub was my swimming pool. I loved water too. Watching Rasa made me excited for her because soon enough her little head will be full of imagination. Remember imagination? Where any and all things are possible and anything you can think up can be real in your exciting world!

She's asleep on my lap right now and thinking of her sweet smiling face made me want to bubble over so I decided to write this....and smile.
